  5. The GP Human Resources/Payroll module provides for recording of history
  6. information including job, salary, skills, benefits, and dates of hire,
  7. termination, and birth. It provides management reports for a specific employee
  8. or for a range of employee information. It meets government reporting
  9. requirements while paying hourly and salaried employees. It processes checks,
  10. and provides labor expense distribution and reporting by department, job and
  11. phase. It processes the following payroll items: regular, overtime, and
  12. double-time for hourly employees; pay for salaried employees; piecework and
  13. tips; sick and vacation days; six standard and five miscellaneous deductions;
  14. five taxable and/or nontaxable other pays; multiple rates and states; and an
  15. option for fixed federal, state and local withholding. It prints W2's, 941A
  16. reports, withholding reports, and sick leave and vacation reports. It prints
  17. quarterly unemployment and withholding reports, and performs automatic quarter
  18. and year-end file maintenance. It provides user access to tax tables for annual
  19. rate changes. It provides password protection for data security.
